We provide eye care, that includes but is not limited to comprehensive eye examinations, for the entire family. We treat glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, strabismus, eyelid malposition and deliver emergency eye care, We perform office based surgical and laser procedures and offer contact lens fitting. Hospital based procedures are performed in Samaritan Hospital and in Albany Medical Center. We cover eye related emergencies for both these hospitals. Being a sole physician practice, our patients do not have to worry about seeing a different physician every time they visit or call our office. We value patient comfort and education. It is our policy never to double book except for emergencies and we pride ourselves for our patient flow. We have excellent after- hours coverage for our established patients that is provided either by Dr. Kaw or in her absence by other ophthalmologists in town with whom we have close professional liaison.
Our office is right off the Hoosick Street and provides ample patient parking. Office is also fully handicap accessible including all exam rooms and bathroom. We participate in majority of local medical and vision plans. We do in- office billing and Marlo, who does our billing, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and will work with you even if you are uninsured or underinsured. We have a very affordable payment plan in place for anyone who needs it.
